Downtown Cabaret Theatre

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre has been a mainstay of downtown Bridgeport's cultural life for more than 25 years.  This unique, non-profit theater offers award-winning musical productions in a charming cabaret setting.  Audiences bring their own picnic-style meals and refreshments to enjoy during the shows, which are presented year round.  

The Cabaret also is home to a marvelous children’s theater company that presents musical adaptations of fairy tales, children’s literary classics and some new works too!  Introducing young audiences to live theater, the Children’s Cabaret entertains children and adults alike with shows that are infused with humor and clever lyrics for all ages.
