City Lights Gallery

One of the bright lights of downtown Bridgeport’s revitalization is the City Lights Gallery, a combination of gallery and gathering place that has been attracting enthusiastic crowds of art lovers to its exhibition openings, which take place approximately every six weeks.

Visitors are treated to a visual feast of works by established and emerging regional artists. Conversation, events and celebrations are also regularly held at the gallery.

A large part of the appeal is the unexpected delight of discovering distinctive works of sculpture, painting, prints and more by area artists—at a range of price points intended to help make high quality, original art available and affordable for everyone.

Art in the exhibitions is available for purchase, and custom framing is available on site. The gallery also offers a variety of art classes and is available for rental for parties and events.
