Housatonic Community College
Housatonic Community College prepares students for employment and advancement in business, industry, allied health, early childhood education, natural sciences, computer arts and information systems, and human services.
Students may choose Associate degree programs or Certificate programs, based on their individual objectives. In addition, short-term, non-credit courses, seminars and workshops help satisfy community and personal enrichment needs.
Many activities and events enhance student life at Housatonic. Student activities, events and programs enrich the total student educational experience by providing a broad range of social, cultural, and recreational events. Students who are involved in the planning and implementation of such activities have the opportunity to develop skills in human relations, group process, legislative procedures, program planning and evaluation, and financial management.
The College also serves the community by hosting events of broad interest to the community at large, such as candidate debates and open forums on important social and civic issues.
