Bridgeport welcomes the
NCAA Division I Women's
Basketball Championship!

Experience the thrill of NCAA basketball at the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship first and second rounds, played at the Arena at Harbor Yard. Fairfield University is the host for the competition, which will determine which Division 1 teams go on to the National Semifinals.

First Round Rivets Fans with Four Fierce Games

Eight teams went head to head to battle out the First Round in a day of fierce competition. The results are as follows:
