Rainy Faye's Bookstore

Rainy Faye’s Eclectic Bookstore and Gallery was founded in 2003 by Dr. Georgia F. Day, an assistant academic vice president at Fairfield University. Much more than a mere bookstore, Rainy Faye’s has become downtown Bridgeport’s favorite place to gather for coffee, conversation and culture.

Live jazz, poetry readings, story telling, lectures and other hip happenings draw a diverse crowd. Art, music CDs, handcrafts, gift items and gourmet coffees and teas are available for purchase. Want to get some work done? Bring your laptop—the store is a free wireless access hotspot.
