Parking & shopping with
Bridgeport's new Parcxmart card
There's a new card in town designed to help Bridgeport merchants and those who park in our city.
It's the Bridgeport Parcxmart™ Card!
Here's how it works: Go to a participating store or restaurant that has the Parxcmart sign, ask for the card, and load from $10 up to $100 onto it. Now you can use the Parcxmart card to pay for parking at the new meters being installed downtown. In the future, you’ll also be able to pay at parking lots & garages (where ever you see the Parcxmart sign), as well as for shopping, snacks, and meals at participating stores and restaurants.
Participating Bridgeport merchants include:
Flowers and Flour
1006 Broad Street
(203) 332-1222
Jam's Good Food Fast
130 John Street
(203) 579-0000
Photo Express Studios
1021 Main Street
(203) 367-6161
Quizno’s Sub
960 Main Street
(203) 331-9500
If your Parcxmart card starts to run low on value, you can go to a Parcxmart merchant and reload more money onto it, either with cash, debit or credit cards. It's a fast, convenient and easy way to pay for small ticket items.

Smart Meter Configurations: Bridgeport is evaluating a number of new parking meters around town. All of them accept the Bridgeport Parcxmart card as well as coins. Each parking meter manufacturer builds their meters just a little differently but the use of smart cards in Bridgeport adds something new and exciting to everyday use of the downtown. Outlined below, you’ll see instructions that explain how to use your Bridgeport Parcxmart Card at each of the two different types of meters and tells you where you can find these meters in Bridgeport.
A number of blocks in the same Main Street area have new POM meters that let you pay with the Bridgeport Parcxmart Card as well as coins. These meters do not have a button, but gradually increase the amount of time purchased until the card is removed.
Using the card else where. It's called the Bridgeport Parcxmart card, but you can use it immediately here and in New Haven. When other cities sign up with Parcxmart, you will be able to use your Bridgeport card there as well. Go to www.parcxmart.com to find out which other cities have started using Parcxmart.
