Parranda Pa’ Bridgeport
December 18 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We are still working out the details of our annual Parranda Pa’ Bridgeport. For now, please mark your calendars for Tuesday, Dec. 18, from noon to 7 p.m.
Our Parranda trail will include four stops, more or less. We will bring song and good cheer to El Coquito on East Main Street, one or two schools and perhaps a bank and a government building. It will culminate with a happy hour at a festive Bridgeport location that will last into the evening.
Our chorus will bring the holiday spirit with Latino songs using traditional instruments and singing Christmas carols from the Caribbean and Latin America.
We need 12 to 15 strong-throated singers to join us! We ask you commit to at least three hours of the trail (and you’re welcome to join the entire route) and to attend a one-hour Saturday rehearsal yet to be scheduled. Everything happens in Bridgeport proper.
If you’re interested, please call 203-864-3779 and leave a message for GBLN President Carolyn Gonzalez. To get a better idea of the Parranda, read about last year’s here.
