The Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District (DSSD) announced today that Philip Pires will assume the role of Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the Downtown Special Services District, effective July 1. He succeeds Kim Morque, who after seven years as Chair of the organization will now serve as Vice Chair.
