A special MLK Day performance created by the young people of Bridgeport, CT
Did you know that Dr. King spoke at The Klein in 1961 and 1964? Thousands of local residents came out for his talks and joined in the fight for civil rights. Then, four days after his assassination in 1968, The Klein housed an overcrowded memorial service in honor of the slain leader. (bptlibrary.org)
