PechaKucha Bridgeport, Vol. 6 @ the Bijou Theatre
November 10, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pmFree
Since this PechaKucha celebrates the last day of the Bridgeport Art Trail, the theme for this event will be CREATIVITY AND LEADERSHIP IN THE ARTS. You will be sure to hear authentic, possibly unexpected personal stories — interesting experiences that may make YOU laugh, cry and/or spark new ideas! PechaKucha translates to “Chit-Chat” in Japanese, but that’s somewhat misleading. It’s a group of people each presenting for six minutes and forty seconds with 20 compelling photos or visuals shown 20 seconds each. This makes each story succinct, interesting, inspiring, fun and/or funky. A PechaKucha is a tasty storytelling feast! Doors open at 6 pm. $1 contribution goes to the international PechaKucha . Food and drink will be available to purchase! Brought to you by the following planning committee members: The Barnum Museum‘s John Temple Swing, Bill Derry, Nina Lesiga, CiTY LiGhTs Gallery‘s Suzanne Kachmar, and our own Lauren Coakley Vincent.
