Australian native, Kylie Garcelon is a screenwriter-director and the 2019 recipient of the Artist of the Year award at the Northern Virginia International Film Festival. Her feature film, The Dog Walker, a psychological thriller which she wrote and directed was nominated for eight awards at the festival and produced by Gladiolus Productions, of which she is a founding member. Her feature-length comedy spec, The Salad Spinner, won Best Screenplay – Comedy, also at NOVA.
