Downtown Bridgeport has OPTIONS when it comes to parking your car. Bridgeport’s location in the middle of a confluence of highways—among them Interstate 95, Route 8, and Route 25 connect the Downtown to many other regions. Whatever way you get here and wherever you are coming from, we hope you will enjoy and explore Colorful Bridgeport. Here are a few helpful points to note:
On-street parking meters are enforced Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Parking is free during holidays observed in the City of Bridgeport. Check out those dates here.
There are multiple ways to pay at the on-street meter: coin, card, and with the Park Mobile or MobileNow parking apps. Learn more about those options at bridgeportparking.com.
There are several indoor parking garages and open air parking lots open to the public in Downtown Bridgeport. Check out our Google Map for locations. Rates and hours vary by each garage or lot – visit each garage’s site for more information:
- Transit Center Garage at 70 State Street, hourly rates from $1-$16
- City Trust Propark Garage at 159 John Street, hourly rates from $4-$8 (TEMPORARILY CLOSED)
- Park City Plaza Garage at 10 John Street, hourly rates from $1-$20
- Premium Parking Lot at 136 Cesar Batalla Way, hourly rates from $1-$30
