WHO:                   Mayor Ganim, Connecticut Against Violence (CAV), Tyrone Smith AKA the Original Clark Kent, Frederick Crute AKA DJ Red Alert (WBLS), Ralph McDaniels (Video Music Box), Theodore Livingston AKA GrandWizard Theodore, Andre Brown AKA Doctor Dre (formerly YO MTV) and many more Hip Hop influencers, City Council and Community members.

WHAT:                 The City of Bridgeport and Connecticut Against Violence (CAV) team up to present the 3rd Annual “A Hip Hop Expression of Black History”: When it Was Hip Hop. This event is free and open to the public. Live entertainment includes musical performances, break dancing, a DJ Spinoff and panel discussion on the state of Hip Hop and Gun violence.
